Tracy Timmins
“Out of Print”, 2013
plaster, crate, flowers, framed photograph
.
It is the decline of the era of print. Ben-Day dots and half-tone rendering have fast become mediums of
nostalgia. Tracy Timmins creates part mausoleum, part reliquary in appreciation for the Newspaper media.
Appropriately placed in Rockefeller Plaza, the once
epicenter of News Media Empire,
The Engineer’s Office presents “Out of Print”.
